As I Walk Down The Misty Road

I was born to savor life and watch it last forever
I gave my heart and I gave my soul

Hiding from the cruel truth

Tasting my ignorance bliss
Closing eyes and feeding lies

Fighting against the endless void
As I walk down the misty road

And times goes by, it splits my life
Sows fear in my mind

If there was a path that I could take
I was too blind to see

A cold shiver runs down my spine
And then comes the clarity

So I realize, it's all gone
